Boysʼ Shorts, the dance DJ & production duo founded by Vangelis, one half of
LAGASTA and electronic artist Tareq, have returned with their new EP, titled
“Together”.

The EP includes two original tracks, one rework, and two fine remixes by the
likes of Munichʼs Benjamin Fröhlich co-founder of the ever-excellent Permanent Vacation imprint and Brazilian Berlin-based DJ and producer ROTCIV.

On the EPs opener “Sunset Flirt”, Boysʼ Shorts deliver an uplifting club-ready
tune rich in sparkling synth stabs. The result is a melody rich, synth-driven
beauty, in a late 80s romance dream. Next comes “Together”, which finds the
pair delivering a banger of a tune filled with vibrant synths and electro-tinged
beats. An addictive groover.

“Flirt Together” is a rework of the title track with elements of the “Sunset Flirt". A blend of synths and arpeggiators leading to a sublime beauty of a raveinfused slow burner. Benjamin Fröhlichʼs remix of “Sunset Flirt” is a more
upbeat and uplifting adaption of the original with a New Order-ish feel. A
carefree dancefloor delight. ROTCIVʼs remix of “Sunset Flirt” finds the Brazilian Berlin - based DJ and producer infusing the tune with an extra dose of dancefloor power, delivering a five-minute peak-time heater.
